Food For Thought. A Week of Culinary Interviews Begins with Our Launch Party Winners and One More Giveaway!

Our giveaway party may be over, but our project keeps rolling on. Talking to people, asking questions, and collecting stories, is becoming a part of our everyday lives. The new website is just one small change in a process that for us seems to be ever evolving. It starts with a thought. A single stroke of inspiration; an idea, a word, a commercial on t.v., a holiday, a story on the news, the suggestion of a friend…”I wonder what people would think about that?” And a topic, a theme is born. Most people want to tell their stories. Most people want to be heard. And for most people, it’s human nature to want to listen. We’re betting on the idea that if we can get people talking, you’ll be willing to listen.
This past week we wanted to reward you for sticking with us through the move, or for checking in for the first time, or sharing us with a friend. And your responses were great. And today we have the winners of all of our giveaways! We’ll post these on our Facebook as well, and we’ll reach out with the contact information provided. 1. Indian. I am honestly between places, right now, and like a few … I don’t think I’ve ever met an Indian place I didn’t like; but I miss Rajbhog, which used to be on Adams Avenue. That was my favorite, in the Philadelphia area. They closed a bunch of years ago.
